The Gift of Membership

Vajrayana Buddhist Center is dedicated to helping others improve their compassion and wisdom and progress along the path to enlightenment. Whenever we help our Dharma Center we are indirectly helping others gain peace of mind.

Although Vajrayana Buddhist Center initially received startup monies from the New Kadampa Tradition, we are now financially self-sufficient. VBC operates entirely on donations, and we are grateful that many people have been so generous in their support of the center.

Our programs are open to everyone regardless of ability to pay. By becoming a member you are helping the Center continue this important practice.

"By working to improve and organize a Dharma Center we are working for all sentient beings, we are practicing offering happiness to others. If we ask "Why am I working for this Center?" we can answer, "Because I want to give happiness to all sentient beings." The best way to help others is by giving Dharma, not just by giving material things that provide only temporary benefit, or which may even cause harm. Giving Dharma will bestow temporary benefit as well as ultimate benefit."-Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
